Play at Trellech
Play is an important part of our school day. Children access the 'Scrap Store' each break time. The scarp store enables children to use a variety of materials to support their play. This enables children to use their imagination whilst at play. Funding from Play Wales has supported the development of our play provision.
In addition to this, each week we open our grounds to the school community for 'Stay and Play'. School community members of all generations come together to play and socialise. Funding has supported the installation of a shade sail, benches and reading shelters to support this provision.
Recently, two Year Five pupils presented at the Monmouthshire Play Sufficiency Conference to share our journey and development of Play.
